1. Acceptance of Terms
Installing the Riffly Chrome extension, creating an account, or using any of our services (the "Service") means you agree to these Terms. If you don't, don't use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Riffly is a Chrome extension plus web service that drafts cold outreach messages from publicly visible LinkedIn profile content. We don't automate the sending. We don't crawl LinkedIn in the background. The profile content is kept only as long as we need it for the active draft.
3. Your Account
- Keep your account credentials private.
- You must be at least 18 to use Riffly.
- Sign-up information has to be accurate.
- Don't share your account, hand it off to someone else, or use it for a third party without our written OK.
4. Acceptable Use
Don't use Riffly to:
- Break LinkedIn's Terms of Service or User Agreement. That includes automated messaging, bulk connection requests, and any scraping LinkedIn explicitly forbids.
- Send unsolicited commercial messages that run afoul of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, or any other anti-spam law that applies to you.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate anyone.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the extension or backend.
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.
Riffly drafts. You decide what to send. You're responsible for the messages you actually use.
4a. LinkedIn Sales Navigator and LinkedIn Recruiter
Using Riffly while logged into Sales Navigator or LinkedIn Recruiter might conflict with your LinkedIn seat agreement, your employer's contract with LinkedIn, or your employer's internal policy. Before you do it, check with your manager and your legal team. We're not telling you it's allowed, and if LinkedIn decides it's a breach, that's on you.
5. Subscription & Billing
- Free tier: 3 message drafts per week, no credit card required. A one-time +3 bonus drafts is awarded the first time a signed-in user shares a roast at rifflylabs.com/roast.
- Pro: $19/month, includes 200 message drafts per calendar month and the full Pro feature set listed on the pricing page at the time of subscription.
- Plus: $39/month, includes 1,500 message drafts per calendar month plus Active Profile Assist and Saved-Search Daily Digest.
- Team: $129/month, includes effectively unlimited drafts (no monthly cap), 25 saved job specs, 50 tracked searches, and priority support.
Subscriptions renew monthly until you cancel. Cancel any time from the dashboard's Stripe customer portal. You keep access through the end of the billing period.
We can change pricing for new subscribers with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers stay at the price they signed up at, as long as their subscription stays continuously active.
6. Refunds
Within 30 days of your first paid subscription, you can request a full refund by replying to your receipt email, no questions asked. After 30 days, refunds are pro-rated based on unused days in the current billing period. Cancellation stops future charges immediately and you keep access through the end of the period you've paid for. 7. Intellectual Property
The Riffly name, logo, extension code, backend, and prompt design are ours. The messages Riffly generates from what you put in are yours: edit them, send them, do whatever.
8. Disclaimers
Riffly is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind. We can't promise reply rates, conversion outcomes, or that LinkedIn won't change its policies in ways that affect the Service.
AI output disclaimer. Riffly uses a large language model to draft messages. Drafts can contain inaccuracies, made-up facts, misreadings of the recipient, or stuff that doesn't suit your specific context. Read every draft. Check any factual claim about the recipient. Decide whether to send. Anything you choose to send is on you.
Plus tier "Active Profile Assist" disclaimer. The Plus fit-scoring feature is decision support for the recruiter. It's not an automated employment decision tool. Riffly doesn't recommend who to contact, hire, or reject. The score shows how a candidate's visible profile maps to the criteria you typed into your job spec. It's a quick reference. You decide who to reach out to.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at what you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Termination
You can close your account any time by emailing us. We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms, with or without notice. When an account ends, access ends and account data may be deleted per the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
We update these Terms occasionally. Anything material gets emailed to you and posted on this page. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you've accepted the new version.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA (where Riffly Labs LLC is incorporated), without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
